à propos de moi 

Je suis née à Santiago du Chili, mais j’ai passé une bonne partie de mon enfance au Brésil, à Rio de Janeiro, qui sont certainement à l’origine de mon lien passionnel et artistique avec les couleurs vives. Après mon retour au Chili, j’ai vécu 8 ans dans le sud-est de la France ; depuis 2018, je vis et travaille à Bruxelles.

J’ai grandi dans une famille d’artistes, mais c’est surtout ma grand-mère qui a fait naître et nourri mon goût pour la peinture. C’est que j’ai toujours été fascinée par ses copies de Van Gogh, Modigliani ou Gauguin, et c’est dans son atelier, auprès d’elle, que j’ai, dès mon plus jeune âge, été au contact des pinceaux et des couleurs.

Mon enfance a été ainsi bercée par les livres de peintures, des images colorées, des mondes et des scènes fantastiques, oniriques, autour des histoires racontées par ma grand-mère.

mon travail

Mes peintures émergent d’un univers personnel fait de fables et de légendes, où la femme est le personnage principal. Une femme intuitive, évoluant toujours au milieu de la nature.

Dans un cadre naturel tout puissant, mon héroïne nous guide dans un universe fantastique emprunt d’amour et de sensibilité, nous invitant à une poésie fantasmée, à la découverte de nos origines.

J’utilise des couleurs vives, le rouge en particulier, qui s’est imposé comme ma couleur favorite pour exacerber la passion et la sensualité dans mes peintures.

J’aime à attirer le spectateur à l’intérieur de mes œuvres, pour les faire vivre selon ses propres interprétations.

about me

I was born in Santiago, Chili. I lived a good part of my childhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I lived 8 years in the south of France. Currently I am based and work in Brussels.

​

I grew up surrounded by a familiy of artists, my grandmother having been the major influence in my career. I was captivated by the copies she made of Van Gogh, Modigliani or Gauguin among others and at a very early age I took the brush to help her and learn. 

My childhood in Rio, Brazil also has a great influence on the colors I use. Also my universe was filled with paintings books, colorful images, and a fantastic gaze and a dream-like scene that came from all the stories my grandmother used to tell me.

my work 

My work is a personal universe inspired in legends, fables and middle ages images. In wich the main character is woman and my intention is to explore her role in the stories and in the images and also her place with nature.

​

My women are surrounded by nature and naturally pose nude to reveal their freedom and their connection with the environment. It is a symbiosis that awakens sensitivity and intuition in them. The use of pure and bright colors of the atmosphere contrast with their dreamy bodies and their serene attitude. They are women who guide us and immerse us into this dream world where love and calm invite us to fantasize poetry and connect with our origins.

I use vivid colors, specially red, my favorite color. Red is always present, for me is a breathing colour that evoke life and accentuate the passion.

 

In this oneiric universe, I hope to transport you and invite you to keep the paintings alive by creating your own story. 

​

My work is figurative. The supports for my paintings that I use commonly are canvas , paper and wood can be in a small or large format. I use acrylics, oil pastels, soft pastels, ink and pencil colors on linen canvas, paper or wood. 

​
